Happy Fourth of July!

Happy Fourth of July Everyone!

Just because social gatherings are a no-go doesn’t mean we can’t celebrate America’s freedom. We’ll just do it online!

I wish I had a patriotic craft to share with you. Unfortunately, I don’t. Tink’s Treehouse and creating new doll book printables have me preoccupied. The good news is that those doll books are nearly done–well, three of them, but we’ll talk more about that in the next post😉.

Anyhow, to honor this day, I thought we’d share what makes us proud to be Americans or (for my awesome international readers) your favorite thing about America.

I'm proud of our tenacity and courage.
What do you love about America?

Leave your answer in the comment section, and have a wonderful Fourth of July!

  1. I like your pictures too. Tink is rocking the sunglasses. I am proud of our 1st and 2nd Amendment freedoms.

My sister-in-law gave a family party at her house for Independence Day, so we attended that. We brought lots of yummy ears of corn on the cob. That evening, one city around here had a fireworks display, so we got there in time to watch. We had to sit in a crowded gas station parking lot, though. Everyone and their uncle were there, and the entire area was packed!

Amen to that! This country wouldn’t be the same without its Amendments.

Yes, I saw these glasses at Hobby Lobby in the charm section and thought they’d make a cute accessory for Tink. They really work and fit perfectly on her little head.

It sounds like y’all had a fun Fourth for sure! Our city cancelled it’s fireworks show (bummer😒) so we watched the Mt. Rushmore celebration on TV instead. Not exactly the same as seeing them in person but still beautiful.

  2. Happy (belated) 4th of July to you and all the American bloggers out there! The thing I like the most about America is the “craft culture” you guys seem to have. Plus, craft supplies seem to be cheap and easy to find. I wish here we had chain craft stores like Hobby Lobby or Michaels.

Ah, yes, having a plethora of craft stores is certainly a blessing, especially right now when face masks are in short supply. People are buying fabric faster than stores can restock the shelves. I walked into Walmart yesterday to pick up some fat quarters and the entire aisle was empty😱. Not a bolt in sight. Thankfully, Hobby Lobby is well stocked😉.

Thank you! I’d hoped everyone would like the picture of the dolls honoring the flag. It’s a nice change of pace from some of the content I’ve been seeing on Instagram.

We had a very fun Fourth of July. I hope yours was great too😁.

  3. I am proud that in spite of all of the crazy things that happen, we pull together.

Happy 4th of July! I love seeing the dolls honoring the flag.

Happy (late) 4th of July to you also! What you said is so true–our ability to unite is wonderful.

I’m so glad you like the picture😁. I really ought to take outdoor pics more often. I’m so used to hiding from the Texas heat I forget how pretty summer can be.
